“First off it was beautiful...the grounds, the pools....but that’s where it stops.after talking to the people in charge we find out they are very under staffed..and don’t have enough places to eat at the resort for those they booked...they just told us to order room service...well this is interesting because room service never comes...I had the front desk as well as our concierge order for us stating we didn’t get service the day before...and nada...just not enough help. The food wasn’t great that we had.We had no hot water in our rooms the entire time for showers. It rained while we were there so we wanted to watch a movie...no cable it worked for others but not our room.Our room key was another situation....it didn’t work half the time...I felt like we spent more time waiting on maintenance guys to rekey our door, try and fix hot water, and work on cable....will not return.”

“We haven't even had our trip yet, and the reservation staff here of Danielle, Nancy, and (I believe his name was) Luece, have already made this a nightmare. We originally had booked for 4 nights, but our plans changed to where we no longer needed our first night. We booked through Expedia, and are still, as I write this, within the window of time that we are able to make changes without penalty, but the hotel refuses to allow us to cancel just the single night. Some context: since it was booked through Expedia, we have to make the change with them, but they're unable to do so since the hotel is saying they no longer have any of our room types available to switch out the different date (even though it's just taking off the first night, I guess they have to rebook it). Since Expedia can't make this change, they tried calling the hotel, but the hotel says it will only make the change if Expedia changes it on their end, which they can't for the reason just stated. Myself and Expedia representatives spent three hours on the phone with the hotel this morning trying to explain the situation, but they would not budge. Their only solution they'll offer is to cancel the room and rebook it at their current rate, but the current rate would have us pay MORE for just 3 nights than we are already paying for 4 as it is. They're not respecting that we had already made this reservation months ago, are still within our cancellation window, and are now plain and simple just taking advantage of the situation. All that needs to be done is for them to rebook us the same room at the rate we already have, but they won't. I straight up asked them to do this, and they refused. As I continued to try and explain all of this to them, they hung up on me, which they had also done previously to the Expedia representative. Unfortunately our travel plans require us to stay at this hotel for work, or I would be cancelling immediately and rebooking elsewhere. I would never consider this property again for the terrible service they've given us before even checking in. Terrible service, and a terrible way to start off our trip.”
