Most of our experience was very good but the bad was very very bad. We paid a fortune to stay in an oceanfront room ($800 /night),, But it was a room for disabled guests, meaning there was no barrier between the shower & the toilet/sink area so the bathroom got flooded constantly. For this, the hotel gave us $50/night credit & all the towels we needed to act as sandbags! We expected better. Oh well, anyway the staff were very nice & helpful.

Very attractive hotel from the outside. It’s an older hotel and noticeable so once you enter the elevators and they are noticeably slow, one rattled and if the hotel is busy you should plan to wait. The room was good. It had some wear and remodeling should be in the near future for them. The view was beautiful! The pool area was pretty full most the weekend. We never had the opportunity to enjoy the hot tub as each time it was packed with children so we visited the swim up bar and took a seat in the spacious lawn area. Everyone complained about the lack of workers, the bar wasn’t lively as you see on TV so if your looking for the bells and whistles, this one I don’t suggest. They did have Consistency in bell boys and taxi drivers. Very friendly staff. Most employees were happy and enjoyed their job! Always a bonus.

The hotel was quite nice and clean. The staff were incredibly nice and helpful. The restaurants were overpriced, but good. The pool was a bit smaller than expected but the slide was a great addition. The beach was very well maintained and the beach staff were the best.

Reception deck was very helpful and efficient. Room was decent and clean.But this place is absolutely not worth the 19% resort fee they charge. Hot tub water was dirty and full of dandruff / dead skin.Poolside service was lazy - did not want to let us order food “because the kitchen closes in 15 minutes.” The swim up bar was mostly empty but the bartender made us wait 15 minutes just to order a couple of beers.Not a great experience. Stay elsewhere, you can do better for the money.

The rooms are not quiet at all. Since they are both small and have no sound deadening, you can hear everything in the neighboring rooms and hallway. The bed is uncomfortable, but at least clean. There is a microwave in the room for some odd reason and it has a wonderfully bright display to shine on you all night. The shower, while modern looking, is a terrible design. It’s meant to be a rain shower style and has a half open/half full glass partition. Well, the bottom and sides of the partition aren’t sealed at all so water leaks all over the outside, causing a huge mess. The staff is friendly at least but their current entrance is difficult to find (you need to walk through a closed section of the airport). The restaurant had 4-5 tables in total and service was a bit slow. Again, the staff there was at least friendly and the food mediocre. I only stayed here because of a flight cancelation as well.

Fue maravilloso estar alojados en este hotel. Todo el personal fantastico y muy servicial, me hospede con mi pareja en lo que le Llaman cabañas en el 5to piso con una vista espectacular 10/10, el servicio de limpieza brindado por Monica fue excelente, no solo limpiaba conversaba con uno muy amablemente y con muchas recomendaciones de lugares pars comer y visitar. Ella hizo esta estadía especial con sus notitas personalizadas a diario y los dulces!!! Siempre atenta a nuestra comodidad y dejaba agua adicional entre otras cositas. Definitivamente volveré, la pasamos súper bien. Un abrazo a todos

We loved it! Great room, Everything was clean. Nice pools and beautiful beach. Every single staff person was friendly and helpful (even when confronted by some very rude guests) . The system of reserving the beach chairs is kind of annoying, but it seems to be done the same way everywhere.Not sure how that could be improved.Overall great stay!

The people and locations beyond ! The staff is very friendly especially with the COVID rise. The rooms are super clean and if you need fresh towel without them cleaning the room just ask! Breakfast buffet and pool staff I will give them 5 Stars… Tanny he will make you feel like home…. Thank you for your hospitality…. A MUST-

First the good things- the rooms are quiet and there are loads of kids if you want to bring a family.The staff is very nice.The negatives- the hotel is very old and in desperate need of a makeover. It is clear that whomever owns this would rather patch holes and be cheap than do necessary renovations. The bathroom hardware and plumbing looks like it is from the 60’s.The sink doesn’t drain.The breakfast is absolutely horrible. The omelette was the only half decent choice.The other food is spotty at best. A lot of our food came out cold or overcooked. Everything is relative so you may find this hotel suitable but I’ve traveled extensively in the Caribbean and this was the worst place we have stayed.

Highly recommended! Pick the 9th floor of cabanas...newly renovated. Great views of pool, beach, ocean, and surrounding hotels and beaches. Checkout the casino...lots of fun machines and tables for the serious and not so serious gamblers. Food is reasonably priced and good. Drinks are generous with alcohol portions. All of the staff are welcoming, friendly, and awesome! Local restaurants right across the street are safe, excellent food, and also friendly.

Remember to use Hᴏᴛᴇʟʙᴜʟʟʏ.ᴄᴏᴍ when booking a room. This website will compare countless booking websites and usually will have prices much cheaper compared to others! You're welcome :)! This resort is one of the most well known in the area. I have been staying here for a long time. If you stay for a few days you for sure won't be let down.Rooms are rather old, but well maintained though. Seriously, you must do something with corridor carpet.

El Hotel Marriot es muy acogedor, buena música, tragos y comida. El casino sigue los protocolos de uso de mascarilla y presentar tarjeta de vacunación con ID. Deben establecer un protocolo de desinfección constante de las máquinas. Las áreas entre medio de las máquinas deben estar limpias y libres de vasos, platos, servilletas sucias, etc. en todo momento. Los waiters son amables.

My word.. this had to be one of my best stayed yet. The hotel staff are amazing. The pool is always warm. The beach is at your footstep. The hotel is not only clean, it is gorgeous. I have absolutely no complaints. I would give a 10 if it were possible.

Location, amenities, and customer service, the 3 most important things to consider when I travel with my family. All 3 were awesome during our stay. The one thing that stuck out the most the young lady at the front desk Raisa/Ms.Perez, she was absolutely amazing and so accommodating. Any issues we encountered she was able to get resolved. Anything we needed she help us get, although I was one of many guest Ms.Perez always made me feel like I was the most important guest at that moment. I never felt rushed or felt any attitude from her even when I was frustrated about our room mix up. I will always come back and recommend this resort and it’s all because of Ms. Perez. Her professionalism, friendly demeanor, proactive attitude are all traits of someone who understands hospitality and taking care of their guest. A 1000 times thank you Ms. Perez and to Ms. Olga for helping us get the hot water issue taking care of. Everyone at the hostel was amazing casino staff, breakfast staff, security guards, etc. Highly recommend!!!

Stayed here 3/26/21 - 3/29/21 for spring break. My only complaint is that I booked a Cabana Oceanfront room online through a 3rd party vendor, but they did not have my room available for me on the day of. But they did give me a downgraded "Oceanfront Room" for a lessor price. So I was fine with that. Overall this hotel was a good experience. I like the restaurants, bar, food, atmosphere and the rooms. The customer service is fairly good too.

Andre Gonzalez was an amazing host, such a wonderful worker everything we need in food and drinks, he made sure everything was perfect to every level, always had a smile. Location. Walkin distant to places to eat and enjoy entertainment. The cleanlinesswas missing everywhere. Libby furniture all stained, elevator was and floors straight nasty. Room was molded smelling and died bugs stuck to walls. bathroom had trash built up in the corner along with hair residue. Cleaning is messing

We stayed in the cabana building and the room was absolutely beautiful. The view of the pools and ocean was perfect! The pools had to be closed due to repair. It was necessary and we totally understand. I just wished it wasn't during our stay.

We were in the newer section of rooms with an ocean view, it was roomy bright and sunny. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly. The pool was a lot of fun and hot tub was small but the perfect temperature. The swim up bar was great. Drinks and food were generous but pricey. Casino needs an overhaul. The area has nice stores but a lot of vagrants laying on the streets outside.

The hotel was in a good location and had good beach front access. Very busy when we stayed. I expected more from a AAA four diamond hotel.
