A comida na lanchonete é péssima, o buffet é sem gosto e os restaurantes são bons se você se deparar com o dia certo. Os funcionários da recepção do sexo masculino são muito desagradáveis, parece francamente incomodá-los. Reservamos um quarto com vista para o mar, eles nos explicaram que isso não existia no hotel, o que não é verdade. Outros casais estavam na mesma situação. A discoteca está localizada no meio do hotel, impossível dormir antes da 1 da manhã. Na praia ou ao redor da piscina, você pode ter qualquer pessoa com um alto-falante e ouvir sua música sem que nenhum funcionário do hotel peça a eles que respeitem outros turistas. Os pontos positivos, a equipe Kappaa que cuida dos franceses é muito profissional, muito sorridente e sempre atenciosa, muito obrigado pela gentileza. Os quartos são limpos e agradáveis. O cenário é simplesmente idílico, a praia magnífica. Provavelmente voltaremos à província de Samanà, mas não a este hotel.

Em geral, este é um resort decente.• A qualidade dos alimentos (pelos padrões da UE) é boa.• Os outros turistas eram legais (sem pessoas loucas).• Tudo é bem projetado e bem mantido.• A animação é de bom gosto e divertida e não tão brega quanto outros resorts.•Limpeza.• Simpatia geral da equipe.• Eles decoraram nosso quarto depois que dissemos que estamos comemorando um aniversário.* Aulas de ioga.O melhorável * A praia não é tão agradável quanto poderia ser (declínio muito acentuado), mas há uma praia perfeita 15 minutos mais adiante na costa.* Os restaurantes podem estar cheios e os tempos de espera longos.* Quando o tempo está ruim, você fica sem opções interessantes, exceto para comer* O wifi é bastante lento e a conexão pode ser medíocre no quarto (não é boa o suficiente para vídeo ou até mesmo chamadas de áudio para casa).* Algumas coisas existem na teoria, mas não na prática. O café da manhã na cama não pode ser encomendado (tentamos ligar 4 vezes, mas ninguém atendeu).De outros Gostamos das opções adicionais de tratamento de spa que NÃO foram incluídas (o tratamento de sussurros de coco foi incrível), mas custam bastante (120 euros é provavelmente o mesmo que pagaríamos na Alemanha).No geral, uma boa opção, mas eu trataria como 3 estrelas e não como 4 estrelas, o que aparentemente é normal para a República Dominicana.

In general, this is a decent resort. • The quality of food (by EU standards) is good. • The other tourists were nice (no crazy people). • Everything is nicely designed and well maintained. • The animation is tasteful and fun and not as corny as other resorts. • Cleanliness. • Staff general friendliness. • They decorated our room after we said that we are celebrating a birthday. * Yoga lessons. The improvable * The beach is not as nice as it could be (very steep decline) but there is a perfect beach 15 min further down the shoreline. * Restaurants can be full and waiting times long. * When the weather is bad, you are out of interesting options except for eating * The wifi is rather slow and the connection can be lackluster in the room (not good enough for video or even audio calls home). * Some things exist in theory but not in practice. Breakfast in bed can't be ordered (we tried to call 4 times but nobody picked up). Other We liked the additional spa treatment options which were NOT included (the coconut whispers treatment was amazing) but they cost quite a lot (120 Euro is probably the same that we would pay in Germany). Overall, a good option but I would treat it as 3 stars and not as 4 stars, which is apparently normal for the Dominican Republic.

Me encantó. Buena ubicación, fácil acceso para llegar, la habitación súper limpia y cómoda, el personal es muy agradable y servicial, muy divertidos los juegos de la tarde y el pool party. El área de restaurantes es muy higiénico, te dan guantes y mascarillas para acceder a los restaurantes que son de autoservicio para preservar y cuidar la salud de todos.Sólo tengo cosas buenas que mencionar de este lugar. 100% recomendado

Nice hotel, localização perfeita apenas na praia limpa. Ótimo serviço. Levando tudo isso em consideração eu realmente não entendo porque eles estragam tanto os "sucos" servidos no café da manhã. É apenas água colorida e assim no país com a riqueza de frutas excelentes e baratas

Ainda não estamos aqui há mais de 3 dias e estou dando a este lugar uma estrela de 5/5. A equipe é incrível e sempre tem algo divertido planejado com ótimas atitudes amigáveis. Também não me sinto pressionado a comprar ou fazer qualquer coisa se não quisermos. A configuração aqui faz tudo parte do cenário se misturando e é absolutamente lindo. Todo mundo é super descontraído e tem uma vibração muito relaxante. O dj à noite era fogo! A comida aqui é 10/10 e a praia é linda. Neste resort você tem as montanhas de um lado para olhar e a praia do outro. Dê um passeio pelo lado esquerdo da praia e você encontrará um balanço que vai sobre o oceano e uma praia plana para correr. Tão legal

Excelente trato de los empleados. La comida muy buena y variada. Cuentan con 4 restaurantes, pero el Le Marché, que es el buffet es el mejor. Cuartos muy modernos y bonitos. Muy bueno para venir en pareja. Nos hicieron sentir en familia y realmente fueron vacaciones.

We arrived on NYE - The resort was gorgeous, beautiful pool/ grounds / beach area clean and not busy at all.We met some amazing staff - Hanser, Deter and Francisco who kept us well fed and laughing.And the Activities team are truly lovely, engaging people (Jordan, Hendry, Roberto, Luis, Janko, Mary, Johanna, Jefrey, Daley).The Silks Acro show by Roberto and Hendry was incredible, never seen anything like that in resort entertainment.Bravo!The a la Carte restos had a some delicious items on the menu.The buffet or Beach Bar not so much.And forget asking there or Room Service forVege / Vegan options - there are none.One of our party got food poisoning from lobster paella at the Gala…and spent the next day puking I’m the room, the Dr was no help and any requests to Front Desk went ignored.All in all, the beds were comfortable, bathrooms well equipped, great shower water pressure.The plunge pool was clean but never used.I’d have liked to sit in the private patio but the bed and chair cushions smelled moldy.Would be helpful if the awning could be retracted to allow some sunlight to the patio area.It would have been nice if the staff could have arranged or removed some beach chairs to reduce the clutter and clean up the area but totally understand that resources may be limited with Covid.Special Thank You to our new friends Wilson, Santo and Ronny, great to meet you all.

The hotel is more beautiful than the images! The entertainment and sports staff members were amazing. They made our stay worthwhile, never a dull moment. We spent the holidays there and they made our time there feel like we were home with family. I will never forget the shows, the dances and the activities. Thank you for the birthday shoutouts. The activities were well organized. I would like to give a special shoutout and thank you to Jordan, Wagner, Jendry, Jeffrey, Nicol, Deylin and Mari. Please look out for them when you plan to stay next time, they are pleasant, friendly and entertaining. Thank you entertainment team for loving your job! There was no other way I would have loved to spend my birthday! The beach was wonderful, the kayaking was fun and the acrobats amazing! Additionally, I want to thank Joel the bartender at the club for also being extremely personable. The hotel was clean, food was excellent and activities well organized! I hope to plan a trip here soon and will tell everyone about my experiences!

The hotel is very well located. It’s a few minutes from the downtown area of Las Terrenas and the beach next door has a little beach hut/ restaurant by the beach that’s fenomenal.The hotel food - either one of the restaurants - is terrible. We had to go out to eat every night outside of the hotel. The breakfast was ok. Las Terrenas downtown has a restaurant called Le Tre Caravelle - fenomenal - make reservations in advance.The hotel service was mediocre. There’s no quality control at all. We called numerous times for more towels, no soap, tv malfunction, door doesn’t lock, laundry service, etc. Sit down and wait - hours will pass by before the attendants come to your room. The room smelled really bad after the second night - moldy. The hotel power also went out while in the shower. I suppose that the main electrical panel could not support the amount of lights put on for the NYE event. While waiting in the lobby for our excursion, employees held hands and kissed each other. What else can I say.The pool is not heated, neither the hot tub or private jacuzzi inside our room. - Do not pay for the upgrade to have a private jacuzzi. Unless you are going in July / August - the jacuzzi is a waste as it’s freezing.

We haven't even been here more than 3 days and I am giving this place a 5/5 star. The staff is amazing and always have something fun planned with great friendly attitudes. I do not feel pushed into buying or doing anything either if we don't want to. The set up here makes everything part of the scenery blending each other and its absolutely gorgeous. Everyone is super laid back and it has a very relaxing vibe. The dj at night was fire! The food here is 10/10 and the beach is gorgeous. At this resort you have the mountains on one side to look at and the beach on the other. Take a walk down the left side of the beach a ways and you'll find a swing that goes over the ocean and a flat beach to run on. So cool

I just spent a week here and just had to share my experience since there were so many negative reviews. I am genuinely shocked that so many people complained about this place, the food, and the amazing people who work here. I genuinely believe that those individuals are just unhappy people who bring their unhappiness with them wherever they go. This resort is absolutely beautiful. The beach is pristine, it was never overcrowded or chaotic. It was perfectly balanced with fun and relaxation. The staff was attentive and very kind. We especially appreciated Gelso our server for dinner every evening and Jefrey & Jordan who made sure we had a great time every day. The music does go until 1am but it is barely noticeable in the room. We had a blast dancing every night at the discoteca and enjoyed delicious food every day all day long. Our room was clean, cool, and the mini bar was restocked every day. So please, disregard the Negative and give this place a try. It was stunning and the people make it even better.My genuine thanks to the staff who took great care of us.

Its beautiful here. The rooms are pretty and a lot cleaner than in Punta Cana. Its quiet, the staffs are really nice, the sand-beach is beautiful an very flat. We liked it here very much.

El hotel es pequeño, pero tiene todo lo necesario para pasarse un fin de semana maravilloso, excelentes atenciones del personal, siempre atentos, los Shows son buenos, nos tocó ver uno de Circo fue espectacular! La playa estuvo muy buena y la piscina y el área con sus camas y asientos chulisimo, los restaurantes son buenos no tienes que hacer reserva por lo que puedes probar varias opciones, las habitaciones super cómodas y amplias, un hotel que definitivamente volvería!

Hotel muito bom no coração de uma bela floresta selvagem. A piscina é simplesmente linda e os quartos são bons para o preço. No entanto, a comida é completamente de revisão! Nunca vi isso em uma viagem. O bufê blá, o lanche é pior. Bife moído que se banha em água e não falemos de vinho. Eu entendo porque na França somos a capital da gastronomia. No que diz respeito aos destilados, se você não está pedindo destilados de marca, é uma questão de instinto. Pena que num hotel tão bonito não possa oferecer pratos típicos simples e bons! Não vou voltar a isso.

A localização do hotel é como se estivesse no paraíso, os quartos são bonitos em termos de mobiliário. Infelizmente, o serviço deixa muito a desejar aqui. É uma catástrofe. Você chega a uma mesa que já foi usada para o jantar e leva uma eternidade para enchê-la antes que esteja pronta para ser usada novamente. Às vezes, você pode esperar em vão para pedir uma bebida, pois isso costuma ser esquecido após o pedido. Você não deve esperar muito da limpeza dos quartos. Com 2 pessoas, você pensaria que é um pré-requisito que você também receba 2 toalhas grandes novas, infelizmente em vão ... você também deve estocar papel higiênico, pois você mesmo economiza. O bar da praia anuncia pizzas frescas tiradas do forno de pedra, mas infelizmente está sempre esgotado, pois o pessoal não consegue fazer o abastecimento na hora (apesar do baixo número de visitantes). Não quero nem começar com o programa noturno. Quem gosta de música "extremamente" alta é muito bem-vindo aqui. Dificilmente se pode falar normalmente e isso até tarde da noite👎🏻 Dou 2 pontos e isso apenas porque a localização e o complexo em si são lindos.

Fizemos tudo certo! Apesar da longa transferência, decidimos por este hotel e não nos arrependemos. 2 semanas relaxantes maravilhosas na grande praia de palmeiras e a piscina impressionante nos fez esquecer o dia a dia. Eu não tinha do que reclamar. O mar infelizmente era dificilmente acessível com ondas altas e às vezes com uma bandeira vermelha, mas muitas vezes aproveitamos ativamente uma corrida de meia hora na praia para a direita e fomos recompensados com um mar calmo e uma sensação de Robinson Crusoe. A comida era muito boa tanto no restaurante principal como nos restaurantes à la carte, assim como as bebidas, e fiquei surpreso com a limpeza. Não achamos o volume da discoteca irritante, mas tínhamos uma boa localização. Tínhamos cobertores novos e camas confortáveis para uma boa noite de sono. Ar condicionado e janelas de tela de insetos foram excelentes. As medidas relacionadas ao Corona nos restaurantes foram bem implementadas, caso contrário, a pandemia, que ainda está acontecendo, foi finalmente removida. Em nenhum momento nos preocupamos com isso.Todos os funcionários foram amigáveis e esforçaram-se ao máximo. Se você sorri e dá um "Hola" amigável, você o recebe de volta. O conceito é bom, meus agradecimentos a todos os funcionários pelas férias maravilhosas. A equipe de animação também foi ótima e discreta. Fizemos excursões que o hotel oferece, o parque nacional e as cachoeiras de limão são recomendados.Ficamos decepcionados com o nosso guia turístico da TUI, pois apesar do agendamento e da longa espera, a pessoa indicada não apareceu e não tivemos contato durante todo o tempo.Infelizmente, o hotel vai perder o seu encanto atual devido à nova extensão e à expansão planejada, eu lamento muito ...Muchas gracias, V Wyndham Samana e cumprimentos da Alemanha!

Ótima facilidade, todo mundo foi muito simpático, foram minhas melhores férias até agora. A praia é um sonho. Não quero voltar ... É muito limpo, a comida é fresca todos os dias e com um tema diferente. Os quartos são realmente ok. Muitos hóspedes deveriam se comportar como hóspedes, às vezes eu tinha vergonha de nós como turistas. Você poderia ficar aqui por muito tempo ❤️

I checked into Viva Wyndham for only one night after deciding to extend my 5 day trip by one night.I was staying at Sublime Hotel next door but they didn’t have the last minute availability for the additional night so I went to Viva Wyndham for the last night.Judging by the pool and beach, I figured this would also be a nice hotel. WRONG!! All of the rooms smell horrible like musty mildew and are damp. It’s truly disgusting and a breeding ground for germs.The first room they gave me had a broken air conditioner which did not turn on and the floor was dirty. I called the front desk, they sent a technician who came, pulled the vent off and thought he repaired it but it wasn’t fixed. The the front desk said they would send him again. I refused and said move me to another room and also complained about the dirty floor. They were reluctant to give me another room claiming they would fix the problem but ended up switching changing my room because I continued to demand another room. It was super annoying that they didn’t move me when I first told then about the issue.I should have been upgraded since 2 hours of my last day was spent back and forth at the front desk letting them know that my air STILL is not working! The staff is a horrible job at addressing my concerns.My new room still smelled like damp musty feet. There was a dead bug smushed on the curtain, I saw cup rings in the Tv stand from where the last occupants sat their drinks which let me know that the cleaner didn’t thoroughly disinfect surfaces. Im pretty sure the air conditioners are filled with mold/mildew which is also very concerning.The damp smelly rooms is a regular thing there. Everyone I spoke to complained about that.As for food, only the lunch is decent. Breakfast and dinner are really bad. You’ll only have one tasty meal per day which is lunch.The only good part about this hotel is the pool/beach activities such as Zumba and water aerobics. The night entertainment is nice too. They obviously invest more in the pool, beach and entertainmentnot where you lay your head.I’d say if you’re looking for a hotel that is entertaining but not a nice clean room or you are ok with staying equivalent to a cheap motel then stay here. This is not a high standard hotelI am so glad I only stayed one night. I didn’t even want to sleep in the bed… I only came in my room to sleep a few hours and was up and out of my room by 7am the next morning because i couldn’t stand the damn mustiness. I will never go back to this hotel and won’t trust staying at any other Wyndham hotels in DR. Won’t fool me again!

Excelente hotel em uma localização fantástica. Os quartos são impressionantes, impecáveis. Os funcionários são educados. Os restaurantes têm boa comida. As bebidas ... como em hotéis com tudo incluído. Eles perdem uma estrela porque enquanto são apenas para adultos, então fuja do agitação das crianças, bagunce sozinhas. A música à noite é tão alta que você só consegue dormir quando o bar está fechado

Excelente para viajar en pareja. Fui por motivo de aniversario y todo fue excelente. No se guíen por los malos comentarios. Nos llevaron plato de frutas frescas y sidra por nuestro aniversario a la habitación. El hotel es extremadamente limpio.La comida durante mi estadía fue buena, siempre hay dos restaurantes a la carta más el buffet abierto para la cena, durante el almuerzo y desayuno el buffet. Hay servicio a la habitación 24 horas (Tiene pocas opciones) y es rápido. En general la comida siempre encuentras que comer y aunque te lo puedas encontrar pequeño todo tiene buen sabor.El personal fue muy amable y servicial en todas partes. El bar de la playa se puede armar una cola pero avanza rápido. Eso que mencionan de la espera en el restaurante para la cena de qué hay que esperar mucho no fue mi caso, cuando llegamos estaba lleno y fuimos al bar de la playa que esta al frente y en menos de 10 min ya teníamos nuestra mesa. La comida estuvo muy buena. Las pizzas exquisitas, masa fresca y queso de buen sabor.Las instalaciones son muy lindas, nada de lujos pues tiene una orientación muy tropical y cumple con lo que buscan.Lo mejor del resort es el paisaje pues a cualquier lado que mires tendrás una excelente vista, hermosa PLAYA, es muy limpia y hay suficientes tumbonas para todos, agua cristalina y cuando miras al hotel puedes ver la montaña. También hay deportes acuáticos sin ningún costo.También es mentira que se acaban las toallas, siempre teníamos toallas para la playa y al final del día las dejas en mismo lugar.La cama era confortable al igual que el aire acondicionado. El efecto lluvia de la ducha nos encantó. El pueblo está a 10 minutos en vehículo.En fin, es un destino que tenemos en lista para futuro. Volveríamos sin duda.

¡Saludos! Mi estadía fue espectacular. Aunque fui sola, en ningún momento me sentí en soledad, ya que el grupo de animación me hicieron sentir como parte de una familia. Muchas gracias a Deilyn "la chica de los ojos color miel", a Wagner, "el chico con la sonrisa más bella", a Chocolate, el chico más profesional y más talentoso de RD y a Jeffrey, el chico sensacional de goma. Los admiro con todo el corazón y su excelencia me hace considerar al Viva Whydham de Samaná como uno de los mejores hoteles del Caribe.

I’m so confused about these negative comments. I am currently on day four of a seven day visit; it honestly is great! Like you know that you are eating Buffett daily so I’m not sure what people are expecting in terms of food. I think they do a great job with variety and the tastefulness of everything. The room is basic but I kind of expect that’s due to you spending most of your time out and about and not in the room. The room is clean, does have a slight “musty” smell but it’s because it’s humid, I have an issue with smells and this does not affect me at all. Pools are clean and nice beach it’s beautiful. One thing I can say is that the service is IMPECCABLE! I even HINT that I need something and BOOM I’ve got it. It’s just overall really great!!!

Wonderful situation in the middle of a tropical forest and with a private beach. Even if there is another resort next to it, you fell it’s just for yourself. The rooms are basic but comfortable, air con works perfectly fine and water pressure is good. The little balcony was appreciated. Resort itself has good facilities with a nice pool with Bali beds, a beach bar next to the beach and a beach volley court as well as body boards, surf boards and stand up paddle. However, the staff wasn’t friendly at all. It’s not a 4 or 5 stars standard. I was surprised to see that for an international brand like Wyndham. The worst was at the lobby where you feel like you are disturbing the guy when you check-in. Staff at the restaurant need more training as well. Food was very very disappointing unless for the last night where it was good. We asked if they changed chef and they actually did. I put 5 stars because even if the service was bad I enjoyed my time there, the situation of the hotel is just amazing and we made good friends there.

One thing I can say staffs are very friendly and when you ask for help they help you right away. What a dumpster! Since I am on vacation I will not spend a lot of my time describing this place. It is now 1:51 and instead of sleeping peacefully I am very busy killing as many of these bugs, mosquitoes, and insects as possible. What an excuse of a resort! I would leave right now to Santiago but there’s a curfew in this country until 6 am. Again, there’s a lot to say about this cesspool - even though we have only been here for about 8 hours. The bed is full of these little insects. These people don’t fumigate. If you do decide to stay here… good luck, you’ll need it.

I love this place, I been to other resorts in puerto plata but so far this was the best. As soon as you walk in the greet you with a cocktail, you can see the pool from the entrance then in the back the palm trees at the beach, this place was lovely.

Minha experiência durante a pandemia foi excelente. Bangalô muito confortável com ar-condicionado central e ventilador de teto, frigobar, smart TV, rádio despertador Bluetooth, armário para guardar suas roupas com tábua e ferro de passar roupas. Ambiente agradável e limpo. O banheiro era bem equipado com um secador de cabelo. O bangalô fica longe do barulho da discoteca. Ele também tem sua própria piscina. O pessoal foi muito útil e cortês. Há uma loja de presentes e uma loja de charutos no local. Muito agradável no geral e eles tomaram as medidas necessárias de máscaras e gel antibacteriano.

O serviço é tão ruim. O check in é às 15:00, chegamos por volta das 16:45, disseram que o quarto estava pronto então subimos para o nosso quarto, mas não estava, então nos pediram para ficar e esperar. Depois de conversarmos com eles, eles nos ofereceram outra sala que não estava pronta e, em seguida, outra sala que não estava pronta, então esperamos que a última sala ficasse pronta. Depois de cerca de meia hora, chegamos à recepção e eles ainda não tinham uma sala pronta para nós. Eles nem se desculparam e o cara estava com raiva de nós, então pegamos nosso dinheiro de volta e fomos para um outro hotel ótimo. Bem, erros podem acontecer, mas o serviço era tão ruim. Eles precisam aprender sobre a experiência do cliente e o atendimento ao cliente. Não vá para este hotel se quiser ter boas vibrações nas suas férias.

El paraíso es este hotel !!!! Magnífico, la ubicación excelente, con playa preciosa a pie de habitación.Las instalaciones súper amplias, cómodas y con hamacas más que suficientes para todos, sin tener que madrugar para poder buscar hueco. The service is so bad. The check in is in 15:00, we arrived about 16:45, they said that the room was ready so we went up to our room , but it wasn’t, so they asked us to stay and wait. After we talked with them they offered us another room that wasn’t ready, and then another room that wasn’t ready, so we waited for the last room to be ready. After about half an hour we came to the front desk and they still didn’t have a room ready for us. They didn’t even apologize and the guy there was angry about us, so we took our money back and went to a great other hotel. Well, mistakes can happen, but the service was so so bad. They need to learn about customer experience and customer service. Don’t go to this hotel if you want to have good vibes on your vacation.

My experience during the pandemic was excellent. Very comfortable bungalow with its central air conditioning and ceiling fan, fridge, smart TV, Bluetooth alarm clock radio, closet to put away your clothes with an ironing board and iron. Nice and clean surrounding. The bathroom was nicely equipped with a hair dryer. The bungalow is far away from the noise of the disco. It also has its own pool. The staff was very helpful and courteous. There's a gift shop and cigar shop on the premises. Very enjoyable overall and they took the necessary measures of masks and antibacterial gel.

Uno de los mejores hoteles que he visitado en los últimos años, además es solo solo para adultos, tan pronto llegas notas diferencias con relación a otros. Las vistas al llegar al hotel son impresionantes, sensación de espacio, limpieza, amabilidad. Sobre las habitaciones, amplias, cama excelente, TV grande. La comida, no parece un buffet, muy buenas, y las bebidas en los bares de libro, las atenciones del personal en general de 10, felicidades!!!. Hay cositas, detallitos que hay que corregir, pero te sientes tan a gusto que lo obvia, lo recomiendo.

First I would like to start by saying that the hotel is decent but not even four stars decent. When booking I was carried away by the images and the title of all-inclusive for adults only and I thought that this hotel but is nothing more than a hotel that would not give it more than 3 stars and barely meets the minimum expectations of an all-inclusive. The service is good but it can improve, ll quality of the food leaves much to be desired you have more variety of stock dishes going to Golden Corral than in this place. The rooms are in good condition, but the one they assigned me when I arrived the refrigerator did not work, and neither did the telephone. The room service is AWFUL. Stay away from ordering something here, the food is not good. I ordered a chicken sandwich and they sent me a club sandwich that looked like it had been made with canned chicken and vegetable leftovers from the lunch buffet. Another point of improvement that this complex could have is finding another place for its "bar/disco". It is very uncomfortable trying to sleep at 11 PM-12 AM and not being able to because the music from the disco rumbles your doors.Now, not everything is bad in this place, the pool area is very nice but it would be nice to have waiters around so you don't have to leave the area to look for drinks. The view from the pool to the mountains is beautiful, the beach is very well maintained and clean. The best thing about this hotel is its beach, crystal clear water with shades of turquoise blue as you dive further into the ocean. Through the beach, you can walk to Punta Bonita and Las Terrenas.The hotel needs many improvements to be considered a top hotel in the area, I only recommend it if you want to be close to Las Terrenas but without immersing yourself in the chaotic traffic of this small beach town.

Very nice resort. Needed to chop a star for the massage. I’ve had a few massages in Las Terrenas, and the price the charges for the Deep Massage was far too expensive for the effort. What I got was a relaxing body rub. It was great for that. But there was no muscle work especially in the areas I expressed. Everyone was very nice and the stay was great. The beach is the best I’ve ever been to, that’s why I keep coming back to Las Terrenas. But you’ll pay US Dollsr prices for something that is not worth the money. There are far better values very close to the resort. Better to look into those.

This is an great place to spend a good time with your adult friends and couple. It’s not very crowded and provides a comfortable compound which has very nice bleaches and swimming pool. It has three amazing restaurants, Fusion is for international food. Seafood restaurant with a lot of variety to enjoy if tropical sea food.

Loved my experience here. I had been to a house rental a little farther down the beach a few years prior so I already knew the area was nice but the resort exceeded expectations. First, the property was beautiful. It has clearly been updated recently and looks just like the pictures. The beachfront was great, and for the most part, private. Not much traffic around the resort so it seemed very secluded. Second, the food was far better than i was expecting. Other reviewers seemed disappointed but I thought the food was fine, if not good. We tried the Mediterranas restaurant and Fusion and enjoyed them both but also really enjoyed the options at the buffet. Breakfast was my favourite for the buffet and the Dominican Dinner night was fantastic. Third, all the staff were exceptional. Everyone was kind and helpful. In particular we were so impressed by the entertainment staff who work long hours and were just so good at their jobs. Lastly, the rooms were great. It seemed as though the housekeepers came at all different times during the day so sometimes we were in the room and our linens weren't replaced. I will say that we had to keep the AC on all day or else the room got damp. I recommend this resort and will go back to Samana and probably Viva Wyndham V Samana as well!

Overall a good resort although the food and amenities doesn't compare to a Hyatt all inclusive. Beach was beautiful for swimming but not so much for snorkeling. Staff was great and bartenders are pretty good and very friendly. Food ranges from not good at the snack bar to pretty good at the restaurants and even the buffet depending on item. Love the hype crew, don't believe any review that says they act childish or inappropriate or pushy. They work hard 12 plus hours a day every day of the week to try to get lazy foreigners to have a fun vacation. They sweat all day with a smile on their faces while half the time getting rude responses to asking if people want to play a game or do aerobics. Room was excellent no complaints there. Although never was sure what would be restocked in the mini fridge day to day, I could always go ask for things if I needed. Would be nice to have more than 2 beers in the fridge. Beer selection in the entire place is only El Presidente or El Presidente light. Would like to see a much better selection there since DR has a number of excellent beers much better than EP. Very safe resort and driving in the area is not bad during the day.
