Great three days. Clean, quite, small boutique hotel. Staff was friendly and went the extra mile to help with reservations etc. Housekeeping daily which is unusual today. Looking forward to going back

My buddies and I chose to stay here for our first time in Miami. We could not have picked a better spot. Everything at this hotel was awesome, especially the customer service. We met some good people here, especially Anthony and Jerry. They informed us about things to do, and we had some real conversations also. They definitely made a great impact on our trip overall. I would highly recommend staying at this hotel if you come to Miami. We will stay here again when we come back. Thanks again to the staff here at The Shepley, you made our trip better!

It was a nice experience. The room has queen beds , while booking it says full size bed. Rooms are small but clean and fresh. Customer service is great specially two guys who work in evening. The old guy and the young gentle man treat us really nicely. Also you can get chairs, towel complimentary.

We had no plans on coming to Miami but ended up here, long story. I absolutely love it here. We only stayed for the one day but I wish it was longer. Cleanest hotel I have been in in a long time. The decor matches the area. Friendly and helpful staff, and so close to ALL of the action. I don't do a lot of recommending but if it is your first time in Miami and you don't know where to go, this is your place. Ask for Mr. Gus or Gabby and they will get you fixed up for sure. I will be back before the year is out and on purpose this time. Only complaint if any, is that the room Is a little small but it worked out just fine for 4 adults.

Did a ton of research for a hotel in south beach and found this place and saw all of the great reviews as well as the great location. I Booked a room from Wednesday to Sunday since our flight was supposed to get into Miami at midnight Wednesday going into Thursday morning. When we arrived the man working at the front desk wasn't helpful and kept telling us they had no rooms for us. When I tried to show him that we had a reservation, he refused to look at my phone and told me that since we had not shown up right at 3pm Wednesday, that they canceled our reservation due to no show (even thought I paid when I booked in April). This made no sense due to the fact that check in started at 3pm but check out is at 11am, and since we showed up at 2:30 am early Thursday we should have still been able to check in.We were forced to book a room far away and at double the rate, nonrefundable since there was very little available rooms in the Miami area. After we got some sleep I called the Shepley manager (Jorge) and explained to him what had happened earlier. When I told him the story he was able to find our reservation immediately and could not give us a explanation why the employee refused to check us in. He refunded our money and recommended to email him a testimony about what happened and he would forward it to the management company (Alquimia Hospitality Group).After I emailed, we did not hear any word back until I did more research and reached out to management directly. I got in touch with Veronica Medina and explained the situation. After two days all she did was send me a single night free stay pass at the Shepley. After I told her that we did not feel that it was adequate compensation for the hassle their employee caused us, she said that she will not be discussing the situation further. This hotel as well as management did not take the situation seriously. Do not trust that your reservation will be honored here!

Very enjoyable stay! The man who checked us in was so kind and welcoming. Immediately felt right at home. They offer towels and chairs for the beach, and there was a place in the lobby to fill up my water bottle so we didn't have to buy a bunch of plastic bottles at stores. Its location is right in the heart of south beach, there are two great cafes for breakfast right on either side of it. Rooms are a little small and there is a slight musty smell, but that is kind of what I was expecting for a beach hotel. The front desk people were also helpful in figuring out the buses. Beds very comfortable!

Clean hotel, really good location for the price. I enjoyed the porch in the front and everyone was super cool here. If I come back to south beach in the future, I would definitely stay here again! Great service, everything was practical and employees were top notch!

My sisters and I took a trip to South Beach, and we found this little place called The Shepley.Once we arrived, we knew it was just the right spot for us.We loved our stay a full 7 nights, and found this hotel to be just the place to be.We rested each night on the front porch to enjoy the atmosphere of all the hustle & bustle of Collins Avenue.Found this location a perfect location to the beach.I would suggest making the front porch a non smoking space as we had to deal with both cigarette smoke & Marijuana.The staff took such good care of us.Gabby was an absolute delight, and always went the extra step.Jorge always made sure we had ice and ensured we were well taken care of too.An ice machine is definitely needed. 😉Thank you for treating us all so well.We will be back.I highly recommend this little placed called The Shepley.

Es uno de los hoteles en los que me he alojado en South Beach, en una suite. Es tal y como aparece en las fotos, hotel renovado, limpio, muy bien ubicado, personal muy amable y servicial. No tienen valet parking, lo que es una ventaja!! Al igual que la mayoría de los hoteles de South Beach, por no decir todos, no tiene parking en las instalaciones, pero tiene un parking público casi enfrente a 1$ la hora con un máximo de 20$ por día, a no ser que haya un evento importante, por lo que suelen subir el precio. Digo que es una ventaja que no haya valet parking, porque es un ahorro. Los hoteles,como no tienen parkingen sus instalaciones utilizan los parkings de la zona, con los que tienen acuerdos, y sólo por contratar el parking con el hotel puedes pagar por día, al hotel, 40-50$, mientras que si no contratas el valet parking, puedes aparcar tú, directamente, el coche en el mismo parking donde te lo aparcaría el valet parking, pero por un máximo de 20$ por día. El mismo bell boy del The Shepley Hotel, que fue el primer hotel en el que me alojé en South Beach, cuando llegamos con el coche, nos cogió el equipaje y nos indicó que enfrente teníamos un parking,cuando regresamos al hotel, para hacer el check in, ya teníamos las maletas en la habitación. Cuando me alojé en este hotel se vendía como un 2* y cuando lo vi, por instalaciones, servicio, limpieza, etc. era de una categoría muy superior!! Me encantó el hotel!! Sin duda... Lo recomiendo!!
