Hotel bem simples, familiar e antigo, precisando se modernizar. Mas tem ar condicionado (fundamental para evitar os mosquitos abundantes) Split. O chuveiro é elétrico.

Otimo custo beneficio em coconut grove - Miami

Apesar de ser um hotel com mais idade, o lugar é muito bonito e de bom gosto, quartos amplos, tem um átrio entre os quartos muito interessante e pitoresco, a equipe muito cortês! Excelente custo beneficio!!!

Lugar detestável. O Booking oferece como café da manhã e quarto com hidromassagem, mas quando vc chega, tem que pagar 30 dólares por um ofurô que não aquece numa temperatura ambiente de 10 graus e as opções de café incluso são bem limitadas. Só café preto, creme, suco de laranja, pães e frios. Sem mais nada. A limpeza é deplorável, como em todo os EUA. Funcionários com muita má vontade. Quarto com problemas elétricos. Estragou minha viagem a Miami. Não voltaria nem recomendo.

Há 4 anos, fomos para o casamento dos primos da minha esposa e foi uma bela montagem e cerimônia. Mas o quarto era bom e impecável até que queríamos usar a banheira de hidromassagem. Cabelo entupido na tomada, então notamos impressões digitais sangrentas legítimas e spray de sangue no pilar ao lado da banheira de hidromassagem. COM! Ficamos chocados e mencionamos isso, eles limparam, mas agiram como se não fosse tão ruim. Nós ainda ficamos o resto de nossa viagem lá, mas fomos para a farmácia na estrada e compramos material de limpeza. Higienizamos nós mesmos.

4 years ago, we went for my wife’s cousins wedding and it was a beautiful set up and ceremony. But the room was nice and spotless until we wanted to use the hot tub. Hair clogged in the outlet then we noticed legitimate bloody fingerprints and blood spray on the pillar next to the hot tub. WTH! We were shocked and mentioned it, they did clean it but acted as if it wasn’t that bad. We still stayed the rest of our trip there but went to the drug store down the road and bought cleaning supplies. Sanitized it ourselves.

Tive uma reserva em agosto por 3 dias. Assim que chegamos ao nosso quarto, notamos um forte cheiro de mofo. Além desse molde era visível nas paredes e nas saídas de ar. O quarto estava empoeirado. O chão não tinha sido limpo. Quando fomos ver se poderíamos conseguir outro quarto, eles disseram que estavam em sua capacidade máxima devido a um evento e não tinham mais quartos. Então eu pedi à recepcionista para cancelar nossa reserva, pois isso não foi culpa nossa e que devolvesse o nosso dinheiro. Ela disse que não havia problema. Resumindo, eles nunca nos devolveram nossos 486,00 que ficamos, mas uma hora. Em nosso quarto e pagamos todo aquele dinheiro. O hotel está fechado e não havia ninguém com quem meu banco pudesse falar sobre este assunto e eu não consegui recuperar meu dinheiro. Foi uma experiência horrível. Não reserve aqui, você se arrependerá. O lobby do hotel é muito bom, mas os quartos ive ouvidos pelo mensageiro são principalmente sujos e mofados. Ficar longe

Had a reservation back in august for 3 days. As soon as we got to our room we noticed a strong moldy smell. Aside from that mold was visible on walls and air vents. Room was dusty all around. Floor had not been cleaned. When we went to see if we could get another room they said they were at their max capacity due to an event and had no more rooms. So i asked the receptionist to cancel our reservagion as this was not our fault and to please refund our money back. She said there was no problem. Any ways long story short they never refunded us our 486.00 we stayed but an hr. In our room and paid all that money. Hotel is closed and there was no one my bank could speak to on this matter and i was unable to get my money back. This was a horrible experience. Do not book here you will regret it. Hotel lobby is really nice but rooms ive heard by the bell boy are mostly dirty and moldy. Stay away

DO NOT reserve an event with this hotel or any other building under the ownership of whatever money-hungry capitalistic-thumping child that purchased this and multiple other properties. The staff in charge of booking events are unprofessional and have no true customer service skills. My friend’s wedding was booked here months and months prior to date of the wedding. At that time of the booking, it was promised to her that the renovations on this building would be complete in-time for the wedding. Then, with one month prior to her wedding, they inform her there were delays in the renovation and must cancel on her. They only provided alternative venues that were also owned by the same owner of this building. And would you guess? All of those buildings are being renovated as well and do not nearly accommodate the wedding attendees and specifications that this hotel does. They basically wanted us to downgrade and be appreciative of that. Everyone on this earth knows a wedding venue needs to be reserved a year prior to the date. How can alternative be found in time for a wedding that is one month away??? They left us in an impossible situation and could have cared less. I would and will never recommend reserving any event at this hotel and any of its affiliates because it is run by rude and nonchalant staff that would be better off following careers that don’t involve interacting with living organisms. The treatment of my friend was disheartening and the options given to her in such difficult circumstances were less than satisfactory for such a special occasion. I’m just glad there’s a God that forgives because they surely will not be getting that from any of us.

I have a soft spot for the Mayfair since I love the architecture and history of the Mayfair itself and Coconut Grove. The hotel itself is beautiful as far as the lobby. Staff work very hard to keep everything running smoothly. The rooms are a bit outdated but they’re enormous. Love the space. I don’t love the hot tubs on the patio, and we didn’t use ours. Also, the rooms can be a bit humid if the patio doors are left cracked open. I think if people are staying here, you have to understand this is a historic property and has niche architecture given how old the property is.A lot of the features are custom designed for each space. So while it’s not super modern, what they lack in modernity, they make up for in history, amenities and service. Otherwise, parking isn’t great. I’m not a fan of valet but parking in the garage is a long walk. Overall, as a fan of architecture and the green space of the Mayfair, I really liked it and how I was treated as a guest. The pool area is great too.

La experiencia fue muy desagradable la limpiesa es terrible el hotel se esta callendo no vale ni la mitad de lo que pague pedi una suite presidencial y no llega ni a hoster

The lobby was beautiful ! It’s like you’ve walked into a mini forest 🌳 . Definitely can get a few nice photos in ! The bathroom in the room was beautiful. The only thing i found weird was that there was no door for the shower , only a mini glass frame. I should’ve took a picture because it’s hard to explain . But it was nice overall. However , the actual room was a little weird. It was nice , but it looked old and like it had been previously flooded. The wood was old and battered and the room had a horrible smell of mildew. Not sure if it was because the hotel was sort of nature-ish with all the trees and soil everywhere but , We definitely were NOT fans of the smell . It had a hot tub on the porch area , but it wasn’t operative. It had no water in it and it was molded all around the edges. Mold everywhere outside on the mini patio . The beds... oh my gosh the beds... 🤧 Long story short.. they felt GROSS ! Like the comforter set had been washed and placed on the bed to dry , but it didn’t get a chance to dry. The room overall felt swampy !! They only had 1 person working valet the entire time we were there so we spent some time waiting for our car. It was too many people in and out of the hotel to only have one valet worker . The people at the front desk were fine though. No issues with them. I feel if they renovated the rooms a little bit , it would definitely be 5 star worthy.

Whoever is working the Phones after 4pm should be FIRED! I’ve called for hours and no answer. For DAYS now... Reservations department doesn’t answer. Operator doesn’t answer. The person working the Front Desk answers after a while but IMMEDIATELY HANGS UP! I have a booking there and if I don’t speak to anyone Today I’m canceling because this is obviously foreshadowing the service that I’ll be receiving.

There needs to be an option for zero stars cause this hotel deserves one.. its amazing how the pictures will deceive you its not what you think this hotel is ran down they need to do some serious renovating

This place is amazing. Staff are very helpful. Went for my wedding anniversary and felt like I didn't want to leave. My wife and I acquired the presidential suite, which i do recommend.

Excelente, la zona donde se encuentra el hotel es muy linda, se puede recorrer todo caminando, sin necesidad de auto. Ofertas gastronómicas por a cada paso. El hotel excelente! muy cómodo, habitaciones amplias, muy limpio y confortable! la atención de primer nivel, destaco a Rober Lyon dentro del staff.

No me gusto mucho ya que el servicio al publico tanto el restaurant como recepcion nome cumplieron con lo que solicite en elmomento. El hotel de noche es una imagen distinta al dia, muy antiguo, y esta en malas condiciones. La cama de la habitacion sonaba al momento de acostarse, en cuanto a la limpieza interna de la habitacion consegui cosas del anterior huesped.

Mi primera impresión al llegar fue la belleza del hotel. Las instalaciones se ven preciosas y el personal es amable pero conforme pasaron los días en mi estadía (fueron cinco) pude darme cuenta que la atención y la calidad deja mucho que desear.Mi suite aunque muy bella, en las fotos mostraba un jacuzzi en la terraza. Que estaba de adorno porque estaba descompuesto. Y no se permitía salir a la “bonita terraza” de las fotos porque no estaba habilitada.No alcancé a cenar en el restaurante la primera noche y tuve que recurrir a la canasta del mini bar para cenar. En esos CINCO días. Nunca volvieron a llenarla. No dieron aguas de cortesía, la limpieza al cuarto era pésima. El piso continuaba sucio y encima el lavabo y la tina se estancaban con agua.Nunca lo solucionaron.El menú que estaba en el cuarto para room service no era el correcto, así que pedir servicio al cuarto fue mucho más lento porque tuvieron que subir el nuevo menú que sí era el correcto.A pesar de que la piscina tiene una bar con una vista hermosa, lo cierran a las 8 de la noche así que nunca tuve oportunidad de disfrutarlo.En fin , un hotel que en su momento llegó a ser espectacular ahora se siente como un hotel fantasma. Descuidado y sin ganas de mejorar.

Nos alojamos allí cuando fuimos a Miami. El hotel es muy lindo, la piscina en la terraza es hermosa y el barrio es genial. De noche es hermoso para salir a recorrerlo. La habitación era enorme y tenía un jacuzzi en el balcón que pudimos usar cuando volvíamos de pasear. Súper recomendable, la próxima vez que vayamos nos vamos a alojar nuevamente ahí.

Asistí una boda ahí y lo pasamos muy bien. El cóctel fue en el segundo piso q es bonito y la recepción en si en la terraza q es preciosa. El bar ahí está abierto a cualquier persona y vale la pena.

Hermoso lugar con habitaciones enormes y muy cómodas. Es un lugar que combina un ambiente familiar y romantico. Espacios abiertos con mucho arte contemporáneo. Ubicado en un barrio muy chic. Me encantó la experiencia. La mejor relación precio calidad. La atención fue de primera. Recomendado 100%.

El hotel alguna vez fue extraordinario. Puro lujo en medio de una zona privilegiada como Coconut Grove. Las habitaciones son impresionantes. Son suites enormes bien diseñadas y bastante cuidadas. Me sorprendió lo razonable de los precios del minibar. No barato pero algo razonable. Sobre todo considerando el precio exorbitante del hotel. En general al hotel a faltan algunas mejoras para alinearse con los tiempos que corren. Ha quedado algo anticuado. Lo mas preocupante fue no poder encontrar escaleras entre los pisos 3 hacia arriba. Preguntamos y la respuesta fue que no había. No nos dejó muy tranquilos.

I chose this hotel because I fell in love with its architecture and I saw it was within walking distance of a lot of shops and bike paths. The hotel has a very posh feel to it, not in a snobby way...

Nice little getaway spot. Beautiful hotel. Friendly staff in lobby, housekeeping not so much. Will definitely return. Breakfast at the Mayfair Kitchen was pretty good. Did not try the spa this trip...
