“The hotel was gorgeous. I loved the spa; the lady who serviced me was extremely kind and wonderful. I had a target massage that focused on my shoulders and head. I also loved the poolside cafe. The servers were very nice. I liked that they offered fruit for the kids instead of French fries and the kid’s portion sizes were perfect. The kids’ menu had healthy options (a very good grilled chicken sandwich) unlike most kids’ menus that are filled with fried foods! 5 stars in that area. Service on the beach was also perfect! I took my 3 and 6 year old out to shell hunt at 6:00am every morning. We found beautiful shells and it was such a peaceful, relaxing time for everyone! My shell photo isn’t the best but you can get an idea of what the kids can find. My children and I loved making sandcastles and decorating them with shells.
Our room got damp quickly since we used the balcony a lot and had the door open to hear the ocean. It was difficult to get swimsuits/clothes dry. The bedding was uncomfortable...too heavy and the duvet was awkward. We just took the duvet off and used the sheet. However, these things didn’t affect how much we enjoyed our stay.
The Ritz gave us exactly what we wanted and more. The staff was attentive and kind. It was relaxing for a tired mom and dad, and the children were so happy on the beautiful beach. We made wonderful memories here and look forward to returning again.”
