We had a small incident one night where our room key did not work.Staff realized the door lock battery died.It took them an hour to recharge and open the room.Wife was a little upset but staff remained calm and helpful.They gave us a $100 refund for the inconvenience. Overall nice and clean place. I have already recommended the place to friends who will stay there next weekend.

Tive uma ótima estadia neste hotel. I had a great stay at this hotel. I'd like to call out Nicole for being a great host, both professional and courteous, she made me feel very welcome. The hotel itself I found to be above average for the class and rate. The room was cool and smelled great when I got in there. If you've stayed in lower end hotels you know a room smelling nice without any lingering odors is a key point. The bed was comfortable leaning towards the firm side, but not excessively so with plenty of pillows. The bathroom was well stocked with towels and toiletries (bar soap, body wash, shampoo and conditioner) and the shower had good water pressure. The room temp was easy to control, though if you want to set the temp below 68 you are out of luck as it doesn't go below that. I found that to be more than enough cooling overall. The room has curtains that completely darken the room during the day, which I needed as I went to bed early when the sun was still up. The two queen room I stayed in is very large, with a desk space and table space available. They also have a power strip built into the TV stand with 12v outlets and USB chargers ports. There is a refrigerator in the room and a single serving coffee maker with several included coffee packs as well as non-dairy creamer and sweeteners. I stayed on the sixth floor and there is an ice machine on the same floor down at the end of the hall (I assume each floor has one, but didn't check), which was convenient for filling my cooler as that particular weekend got into the high 90s for temps. Room cleaning was available by request, but I only stayed three nights so I never needed to call. I got setup with a Marriot Bonvoy membership so I could use the free wifi and found it to be more than adequate for streaming video. I did try using some of the free streaming services on the television, but the performance was pretty spotty so I ended up just using my tablet with the wifi. There are a few other bits I could complain about in the room, but it's really nitpicking to find something negative and none of these things affected my stay. The cabinet door holding the refrigerator was a bit busted up and I felt like the design of the bathroom should have concealed the sink piping under the cabinet a bit better. The hotel has a restaurant called Finch's downstairs with a bar area and a regular seating area. The place is very nice, looks brand new. They serve breakfast, lunch and dinner. I eat a plant based diet and found their options for this to be okay, better for breakfast than lunch or dinner. The prices are a little bit steep, but the service is excellent. If you are a very early riser you are on your own as the breakfast starts at 7am, but there are plenty of coffee shops in the local area. Overall, I would definitely stay at the hotel again.

I know we seem to be rolling out of C-19 and every business is short of staff (May 2022). Like many others, this hotel is limiting room housekeeping (but you still pay the same rate each day as before). Staff were great and the room was fine but not exceptional. We were also looking for a place for an up coming trip and found a newer/nicer/less money Marriott about ten minutes north. The general area this Renaissance is in seems rough/rundown although the hotel and grounds are nice enough. Very close to the highway so some traffic noise.

This place was really nice and our room was nicely set up. I just didnt enjoy the sound of the heater/cooler made at night. It was really annoying and somehow couldn't get to a comfortable temperature. Also the restaurant Finch was closed for lunch which we werent made aware of since the website stated open so that was a bummer since we were looking forward to food. Overall staff was okay and nice

After dealing with a catastrophic hotel room at another location on Thanksgiving (crime scene worthy, moving on), I called here desperate for a room minutes before 11pm on THANKSGIVING, YOU GUYS. Saint Nicole, the hotel professional extraordinaire who I spoke with and met, hooked us up with a room on a national holiday at a reasonable price. Not only was the premises beautiful, clean, and welcoming, but wow—Nicole was so empathetic and NICE. That’s so rare in 2021, in my opinion.She even gave us a room with a balcony. I didn’t realize how special this was until my NY Giants fan spouse stepped out onto the balcony and was greeted by the lights of MetLife Stadium. It was definitely a moment for him. For this reason and peak top shelf customer service by Nicole, I am a Renaissance customer for life.

Stayed here for a friends wedding and everything and everyone were absolutely fantastic!! The rooms were extremely clean and smelled terrific (due in part to their no smoking inside property policy). The bed was comfortable and the amenities were nice! The entire staff, from the front desk to the bartenders were extremely outgoing and helpful. Would definitely recommend and I would absolutely stay again!!

The overall experience was very good, rooms were nice and clean. The service was nice and the breakfast is very delicious. The only thing that was not nice was the treatment received at breakfast, as breakfast was included in our package, but we didn't have the voucher, which was a justification for barring our entry every time and so we had to every day explain that, which is pretty inconvenient.
