“Visited for a conference. Overall the staff were exceedingly helpful. The attractiveness of the dishes varied a lot from superb to 'ok' at my table. The stuffed papers and brownie with ice cream were excellent. The soup was bland and one-inch biscuits on a cheese-board look nice and arty but oatcakes would be more practical. Silver service staff, though young, were faultless. There's a nice garden with seats out at the back. Room prices vary enormously according to demand. No room safes.”

“Lovely festive lunch - numerous choices for each course and generous portions. Stafffriendly and efficient. Only minor disappointment was the very weak coffee but overall very good quality and value. Encantador almuerzo festivo: numerosas opciones para cada plato y porciones generosas.
