“The location is pretty good. The rooms were meehhh. For the price, I would have rather stayed elsewhere. Jordan at the pool bar was the best. She was very nice and represented the cornerstone of what this hotel should be. Most other staff were not as helpful and did not exceed our expectations. Restroom was clogged up. It was filthy. Plus security kicked us out of the pool area at 10 even though the pool sign clearly indicated 12.”

“Our first impression, based on the lovely lobby, was positive, but when we went to the pool to wait for our room to be ready, it was overrun with screaming kids, loud radio music, and no available towels. Once we got to our room, the carpet was stained and looked dirty, and later that evening, there were partiers outside until nearly midnight, and they only dispersed when security asked them (twice) to leave. From 7:00am on, there was very loud construction across the street with no warning from the front desk. The pool bar was closed, and the hot tub was closed, so we didn't get the "resort" experience we expected (and were charged for). The outdoor hallways looked like a motel, and were really gross and dirty, with standing water which was an accident waiting to happen.If you're a golfer, you'd probably enjoy the nearby course, but we were disappointed with our experience overall. It was not the high-end, quiet resort experience we had hoped for. The management should hire more capable and visible staff, and stay on top of common areas, to ensure a good experience for all guests. Two positives were the history of the hotel, detailed with pictures off the lobby, and the very tasty brunch in the restaurant. Overall, though, we would not return. Also, there are nearby restaurants in the little town which we enjoyed - but that was when we were away from the hotel.”
