“Our stay at the hotel was a mixed bag. I’ll start with the good. The price is right for a decent hotel with an indoor pool. The pool and hot tub are open till 11:00, so you can take a dip even if you arrive late. Our room was one the main floor. It’s a nice bonus to not wait on an elevator. Breakfast was included, which is nice when you have children. The location is good. Just off the interstate and close enough to Richmond attractions. The noise transmission between rooms is near zero. Now the bad. Though the hotel isn’t very old, there are signs of wear. The carpeting and lamp shades are worn. I had to break ice out of the mini-fridge to close it. So, it melted the next two days and left a big wet spot on the floor. Our box spring on one of the beds was broken, so the bed sunk in the middle. My daughter didn’t complain and was able to sleep fine. I informed the manger. But there wasn’t a replacement or reduction in our stay. Therefore, if you are looking for a mediocre stay with indoor pool, this place will fill the need, but don’t expect luxury.”

“My family and I stayed here recently for a much needed Thanksgiving vacation and I can honestly say the rooms were very clean, the staff was friendly upon arrival, during our stay and at check out. When I requested extra towels and sheets, I didn’t have to wait long at all. We didn’t go to the indoor pool, breakfast was great. I enjoyed the coffee. I will be returning to this hotel.”
