I’m currently staying in a junior suite here paid for with my Hilton points and am completely unimpressed. Unfortunately the negative reviews are the accurate ones. I’ve stayed at other Curio Collection hotels and this is NOT what I was expecting. There was a long line at check in, as only one person was working. The map was barely legible because it had been copied so many times and the buildings numbers were super hard to read. We found our room, but could find no elevator to the second floor. There were no luggage carts to be seen anyway, so the stairs were unavoidable. The room is fine — big and clean, but cheaply furnished. The bed is comfy though. There are two glasses in the room, no wine opener. When you call the front desk, no one picks up. One of our glasses broke so we called for replacement glasses and they brought paper ones and said for glass glasses we called the wrong number. ????? They could have said this over the phone. Anyway, we called room service like they told us to and it took another hour to get them. This is what I would expect from a Hilton Garden Inn or Homewood Suites — something that’s not full service. This is, however, advertised as a full service resort. The grounds are very pretty. It’s a shame to see such a beautiful property go to waste like this.

Hotel we currently chose for vacation in Palm Springs (Curio-Miramonte) is not 5 star by any means. Room is dirty, hotel is rundown, we had to tote our bag up one flight of stairs (there is no elevator) for 2 story property- weird?) it's very much in need of an update. Rooms are outdoor access only (like motel 6) Front desk was absolutely clueless on how to check us in, we had to wait almost 35 minutes to check in after a very long day. We did not feel welcomed at the property, nor did they explain anything about amenities or things associated with the property for layout, etc. We travel all over the world for business and know what a hotel/resort should look like and perform and this place DOES NOT do that-- I fee like I have wasted my Hilton points on a very sub-par location- extremely disappointed!

I stayed 2 times in the past One time I had a spa package and it was wonderful and actually reasonable. They have beautiful garden grounds, hammocks in some places. The Spanish architecture is not my favourite but it's all blend in very well. Very peaceful resort. Smiley and friendly staff.
