Very nice mid priced resort at Disney, however prices continue to increase and the value is waning. Bus service is punctual to all parks with depots spread out through the resort within easy walking distance from all buildings. Boat service to french quarter and Disney springs is enjoyable and a nice convenience. Main pool is large with a fun water slide and sprinklers. Multiple smaller pools are easier to access and less crowded. Cafeteria offers quick service at decent prices, table service restaurant does Cajun cuisine justice. House keeping does an excellent job and staff meet the Disney standard of friendly and helpful. Rooms are functional and comfortable but a little cramped. Biggest draw back is the size of the place. It's a large sprawling complex that makes locating your room difficult and if you arrive at the front desk from a shuttle it could be a very long walk to your room with bags depending on what unit you get. Overall has a good experience.

Overall the resort area is beautiful and well themed! Our room was gorgeous as we stayed in the Royal Guest Room! Our only issue was we stayed for 4 nights, on the night of check in my husband and I went to Disney Springs and then we came back to our room to shower and go to sleep. When we got back and actually looked at the room it was dirty and dusty and the shower had no hot water. They did switch our rooms and everything was fine after that! The rooms are really far from everything as well so be ready to walk. We personally would rather spend a little more and stay at a different resort! This resort is still very nice though!

Staying here for about a week currently. It is really beautiful and full of so many plants and everything is beautiful, but the resort is also pretty large, so it’s worth taking into consideration that your hotel room may be a bit of a walking distance from the food/lobby/shop, pools, boat, or bus stop. It isn’t bad at all until you’ve spent fourteen hours walking around the parks all day and your feet hurt. Also not a huge variety of healthy eating choices in the food court or lounge, though if you don’t mind having the same salad over and over, you’ll be fine! The shop here is also quite big which is nice, and the pools and food court are open pretty late.

Came here with my wife for our honeymoon. We originally had a room on the second floor that could only be accessed by stairs, but they managed to get us a different room on the first floor. That said, the cast members went above and beyond to accommodate our needs and make our stay more comfortable. The room itself was pretty good as well, despite the tv only sort of working. The amenities were also very enjoyable. It’s also a convenient place boat ride over to Disney Springs. Overall, we had a wonderful experience and can’t wait to go again.

First stay here we were in a standard room and had to do some extra walking but the rooms were larger and it wasn't too far from everything. Every other stay was in royal rooms which have a fantastic location and are beautiful but definitely smaller. The resort itself is very nice and quiet, very good for older children or adults, but fine for the younger ones as long as they don't expect too much theming. Love the boat transportation to Disney Springs but the ride to the parks can feel pretty long, and the lines to get on the buses at the end of the night was always ridiculously long. Good food options but we generally didn't spend much time eating at the resort. The main pool is nice but can get busy, so we really enjoyed the smaller pool located near the room which was made even better by being right next to the laundry facilities so I could do laundry and keep the kiddo entertained.

O Port Orleans é sem palavras! Fiquei no quarto das princesas da Disney, tudo limpo e arrumado. Tem translado para os parques da Disney, há uma loja, piscina e diversas atividades!

Não cheguei a me hospedar nos quartos, porém o ambiente é muito confortável, bem espaçoso e com bom serviços. Há a possibilidade de andar de carruagem pelo resort (e os cavalos são muito bem tratados!).

Ótima hospedagem para famílias e casais, cercado de muito verde, com esquilos nas árvores, ao redor de um lago, quarto simples com estilo que segue o tema intencionalmente e silencioso (exceto quando os filhos do vizinho espancam a porta e gritam pelos seus pais, mas ok). Transporte de barco para Disney Springs, muito próximo ao Epcot que dá até para escutar os fogos de encerramento. No tempo da minha estadia (janeiro/fevereiro) não haviam recepcionistas falando em português, o que dificultou um pouco referente a alguns termos do inglês, mas sobrevivi! Have a nice trip!

O resort é lindo e imenso, tem uma infraestrutura fantástica. Ótimos restaurantes e também piscina e área de recreação. Os quartos são ok com decoração Disney. Destaco para todo o ambiente de passeio a beira dos lagos, ótimo para curtir fins de dia e passear com as crianças. Também achei o estacionamento amplo, mas prepare-se para andar um pouco até os quartos.

When initially checked in, our room wasn't remotely ready. The first cast member we spoke with was unhelpful, and couldn't tell when we could check in. After a taking a breather, I spoke with the night manager who was helpful and provided us with a credit. Granted the room wasn't ready until 11pm the evening had a sort of dark cloud over it. The hotel itself is really beautiful, I walked the grounds and took many boat rides. Thematically captures the feel of New Orleans. Despite it's size and how busy it was the room was very quite. The bathrooms were a downer, especially after having stayed last year at the contemporary. Over all it was a nice place and plan to return.

Great location and setting. Everything spotlessly clean. Room cleaned and clean towels provided every second day and beds made every fourth day, but this didn't always work out, hence the 4 star for service. Food was great as were the staff. Main downside was the bus transport. On numerous occasions we were waiting over 30 minutes to get back to our resort. Unsure if that's within the resort's control or not, but there you go. Bus issue aside, would stay here again.

We stayed here for my sons birthday weekend, the place was clean the staff was friendly, food was amazing, the one tiny thing i did not like was the pool for the children i feel it did not have enough slides. But that’s not a problem since we can pool hop once staying at a resort. The horse and carriages were amazing my kids loved it. The atmosphere was very peaceful. I will definitely recommend this place.

Como hay mucha gente, más o menos hay que ir con actitud de self service... Eso sí, es muy bonito y la experiencia en Resorts de Disney es definitivamente otra cosa. Volvería mil veces. Casi toda la comida es chatarra, creo que se puede hacer fast food más saludable.

I'm only giving the rooms a two star rating because my room looked like an over decorated motel 8 room. For the price, was not impressed. The service was great. Need towels? They brought them to our room promptly. The food was like cafeteria food, but we only ate breakfast there before heading to the parks, so not a big deal for us. The location was gorgeous. Loved the ferry ride to Disney Springs!

Would really give it 1.5 but that's not an option.Will not likely be staying here or any other Disney property again based on this experience.The customer service was poor and the handling of a health crisis in my party was found extremely lacking. We were made to still check out of our room even though my traveling partner contracted Covid at the property. No reasonable accommodation or transportation was provided for us and we were left to find our own way to another hotel that was more affordable.The morning of check out there was horrible miscommunication among the Port Orleans staff which led to my traveling partner and I being stuck outside our room waiting for a luggage cart which inevitably did not show up, leading us to have to walk back to the lobby carrying several bags.Housekeeping was less than helpful. They only gave new towels and emptied the trash / recycle. Our beds were never made and as far as I could tell the floors were never swept / maintained.One positive thing I can say is the food was very good and the gift shop was a good size with a good variety of products (although we did not purchase anything there). The food service staff was delightful and mobile ordering was very easy.All in all, would not stay here again. The customer service is not what you would expect from a moderate Disney resort. Hoping they can take this feedback and improve for other future parties who choose to use their facilities.

Beautiful resort which also has a boat to take you over to Disney Springs. There is a nice sized pool with water slide and paddle bikes to ride around. Our room was average and considering we only came back to sleep that part didn't bother us. The resort itself is beautiful- right on the water with walking paths all over making it worth it to tour around and enjoy the sights. I liked taking walks in the evening and enjoying the breeze along the water. We would definitely come back here again.

El personal sumamente agradable, las instalaciones maravillosas, pero el servicio de limpieza de cuartos es terrible! Estuvimos 1 semana, jamás se cambiaron las sábanas, teníamos que pedir toallas por qué no llevan, el baño estaba asqueroso y aunque lo reporte 2 veces, jamás lo fueron a limpiar

Great resort! Went to celebrate a wedding 2/12/22 had a blast all weekend. Resort staff were great and welcoming, buses easy to access for parks, had some good food and places to chill with music and drink or fun in one of the two pools. Well maintained looks great. My husband and I are big Disney fans and have stayed at multiple resorts on property, including the Boardwalk, POP Century, and Port Orleans French Quarter. Port Orleans Riverside was the most recent resort we stayed at, and we were so excited!We were not impressed with the room we stayed in. It was clean - but very outdated, especially for the price we were paying, which was more expensive than French Quarter. The TV also seemed very old - it had a weird buzzing, and everything coming out of it was a bit muffled. The AC was so loud turning off and on that it woke us up at night!The resort is also HUGE, with tons of buildings, and we were the furthest away from the dining hall/boat launch area - about a 10 minute walk from there. Obviously, when a resort is booked to capacity, someone has to stay in the outermost buildings, but it was definitely a downside to be so far away from everything.Things we were definitely impressed with: the grounds! They were so beautiful to walk. Everything was so well taken care of. The staff was incredible and so friendly, and the dining hall there had lots of delicious food options. We loved being able to take a boat to Disney Springs, and even though we were a far walking distance from the "main" area, we were very close to a bus stop, which was nice!Overall, I do not think I would stay at this resort again. My husband and I definitely prefer French Quarter over Riverside. It's a bit smaller (or so it feels!), and the rooms seem to be more updated.

My husband and I stayed here from a Sunday to a Friday and were very pleased with our stay! We tried to get a very early check in online, but the room wasn't ready so we were able to leave our luggage with the bell boys and go to the park and have an amazing time. We got the text that our room was ready about 1 pm so we went back to the resort to settle in and there was a mistake with our room. We had ordered the royal room and we had gotten a regular, but they were very quick to make it right! So we were able to get the Royal room with the River view and it was so awesome! The views are breathtaking and so peaceful here. I would suggest if possible to take a day or two between parks to rest and enjoy the resort. The staff is so helpful and when we needed extra towels they were quickly delivered and they also were very quick in delivering our baggage when we check in and were able to get it when we checked out. I would highly recommend this resort and we will be back next time. The only downside and I am not sure that it is worth mentioning, but the bus shuttle service was a little tough at times. By the time the Magic Kingdom bus got to the main stop by the lobby it was full so they had to get another bus to come and get us. But other than that it was great.

2018: Used the pool and dining facilities while staying at Port Orleans - French Quarter. Pool appears a little larger at Riverside in comparison to French Quarter. Riverside is very sprawling and stately in comparison to French Quarter. Update November 2021: Riverside. Rooms have been updated and do not include the carpet. Has a fold down bed for kids under the tv. Limited storage area for clothes and did not find a luggage stand. Cast members were quick to respond to the need for extra towels at one point. Trash was removed once on our 4 day stay, that was not an issue. Stay was excellent as always.

My family and I are Florida residents and buy an annual pass every three or four years . We always choose to stay at Disney's Port Orleans Riverside. There is so much to do that you can spend a whole day just enjoying all the entertainment and recreation that they offer daily. They also now have a movie and a campfire almost every night. We love to stay at the "Magnolia" Building in the mansion section. The rooms are always clean and comfortable plus they are tastefully decorated! The landscaping is also very pretty . There is also a boat that takes you to downtown Disney. We like to stay here for many reasons but the number one reason is to see Bob Jackson in the lounge (all ages welcome). He is in the lounge Wednesday through Sunday of every week(no charge). He plays the piano and sings & tells jokes. He always insists on audience participation. I always tell my friends if they are going to stay in Walt Disney World they should stay at the Port Orleans resort (we like Riverside) and that they should try to stop by and see Bob in the lounge and that they won't be disappointed!

Beautiful resort at Walt Disney World. It's very big and spread out, so walking around takes a while, but so worth it! The grounds are gorgeous - you could really believe you're in the middle of the Louisiana swamp lands. The store, quick serve restaurant and full service dining have just about everything one would need during their stay. The staff is welcoming, gracious and helpful.

In true Disney fashion, Walt Disney World is 100% top notch. (even in a pandemic) Our family stayed six fabulous days enjoying all that Walt Disney World has to offer. Port Orleans Riverside is awesome and very enjoyable....BOB was the perfect end to a hectic day, when staying at Riverside, don't miss Bob and his piano. What a gem!! Thanks Disney!! See you soon.

I was so glad I decided to stay at Disney’s Port Orleans Resort. Staying in the resort includes a complimentary ride in the Disney Magical Express from the airport. Once I arrived there, the hotel was so beautiful and huge. I did get lost until a find my room. Staff were super friendly. My room was clean and big. I had the best time staying there and I would recommend specially if you have kids.

This resort is gorgeous! We loved it.. However next time we will probably stay at a smaller disney resort because this one was about 10x bigger than I could of ever imagined. My parents came with us and stayed in a standard room while we stayed in a royal room.. It is dang near a 10 minute walk to just get to their room. Still was great.

We really enjoyed our time at Port Orleans - Riverside. The resort is fairly large, but the bus stops are well positioned and reasonably closed to all rooms. The rooms are a little small, but we spent very little time in the room. The 5th sleeper option worked perfectly for us to provide separate beds for our 2 kids. House keeping kept the room clean and tidy during our stay. The main building provides a nice variety of dining options and the nightly bar entertainment is wonderful. The store is well sized and offered as good or better variety of products as anywhere in the parks. As we've come to expect from all things Disney, the staff were all very friendly and helpful.
